Darkness

As far as the eye can see

Lost

In a sea of nothingness 

Feelings 

Of mixed emotions 

Racing to and fro

Anxiety, FEAR

Nervousness 

Regret 

Sorrow

To name a few

But then 

A light

Pure and bright

Pushed back that

Fog which shrouded me before

Filling my heart with

Tranquility

Happiness, 

Bliss, 

Setting my mind to ease

Saving me from my 

Condemned abyss

And granting me 

A new life ever after

This was my illumination
