From a galaxy 

Outside of ours

A rare and valuable

Energy source

Greater than that

Of the sun

By many times over

Some desire to keep the power

For themselves

To threaten the safety of all

While others want to use it

To expand into space and

Build new colonies

There are those who

Seek to make weapons out of it

Seeing the meteor

As an omen of a galactic war

Either way

Its power is too great

And choices must be made

To handle how

Omnipotent it really is
